About LiveCut

Timothy Wood, Founder and Principal; Chief Technology Officer

Tim has designed and engineered commercial database management systems (Ingres, Sybase) and distributed software systems (Sun Microsystems, Oracle) since 1983. He has held leadership roles in startups in virtual reality, EDA asset tracking, and now LiveCut. His love for music and interest in music production began with his mother, the late Helen Keane, producer of jazz pianist Bill Evans, guitarist Kenny Burrell and trumpeter Art Farmer among many others. Tim conceived of LiveCut to bring recordings of unique, unforgettable performances to audiences, on demand. He has earned three patents on database technology and on the underlying technology of LiveCut. He lives in San Francisco with his wife, daughter and son.

Bryan Matheson, Chief Production Officer

Bryan has built a multidisciplinary career on his talents of music and video production, venue management, vocal performance and teaching. He has operated Skyline Studios, a full-service audio recording and mixdown facility, in Oakland, CA since 1993. He operated iMusicast in North Oakland, a popular all-ages alternative music venue that featured live webcasting of nightly events, from 2000-2005. He built and maintained the end-to-end audio and video recording and webcast facility there, and managed the staff. Bryan has performed and arranged compositions with Pacific Mozart Ensemble, which received a 2005 Grammy nomination, since 1993, and teaches audio and video production at San Francisco State University. He lives in North Oakland.
